Upcoming support and training sessions for Devon-based SMEs

On Friday 8th November, University Centre South Devon co-hosted a business breakfast event with STEM Graduates into Business.

The event provided information on a number of projects offering free support, training and/or incentive payments for SMEs and individuals in employment, aged 19+ and based in Devon.

STEM Graduates into Business

STEM Graduates into Business aims to incentivise and support SMEs working across Devon to employ a Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths (STEM) graduate on a 6 to 12 month internship.

The project offers incentive payments of up to £3,600 in addition to free advertising of the internship and coordination of the application process. Led by the University of Plymouth Careers and Employability Service, UCSD is one of five strategic partners in the project.
