Course Overview

The FdA Education and Childhood incorporates education curriculum spanning the ages from 0 – 18 years, with additional modules focusing on Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

This unique programme will comprise elements of early years provision as well as primary, secondary, and special provision. The FdA Education and Childhood will be taught by our expert academic staff team, who are ideally placed in the development of each of the individual modules offered within the curriculum.

On completion of the foundation degree, you can progress onto the top-up BA (Hons) Childhood and Youth Studies.

Please note, this course does not provide students with an Early Years Workforce license to practice and if you wish to progress into a teaching career, you will need GCSE Maths, English and at least one science at grade 4/C or above.
