Wellbeing Support

Our higher education support and wellbeing team are on hand to help you overcome any other barriers to your learning with guidance on areas such as: devising wellbeing strategies for stress-management, active wellbeing, managing the unexpected and coping with traumatic life events. We can give you encouragement to stay positive and motivated, especially around coursework deadlines; and support with mitigating circumstances to help you get back on track and complete your course!

In summary, the team are on hand to support you with the following: 

  • Accessing DSA forms online  
  • Filling in DSA forms with you  
  • Booking Needs Assessments with you  
  • Liaising with your tutor to provide in-class support 
  • Emotional / Pastoral Support  
  • Signposting you to external agencies  
  • Supporting you through a ‘Fitness to Study’ 

Self-Help
