Course Overview

The FdSc in Tourism, Hospitality and Events Management will blend management modules with industry theoretical studies and practical operational and management components. This course provides you with many stimulating opportunities. The nature of the tourism, hospitality and events industries is reflected in the style of teaching and learning. Key lectures are heavily supported by regular trips, visits and guest lectures from industry experts.

Previous students have had the opportunity to attend an annual 3-day visit to London, where they considered the current trends and challenges in our capital city. In the past this trip has included visits to some of the most prestigious hotels in London, as well as touring Canary Wharf, the Bank of England, the Houses of Parliament and the Olympic Village. Annual overseas visits have also been organised, which have previously seen students travel to destinations such as Berlin, Cannes, Monaco, Naples, Paris, Reims, Rome and Venice.

The full-time and part-time Tourism, Hospitality and Events Management course has one start point in September.
